Peanut Butter Overnight Oats Tips for Success
- Jelly jars are the classic vessel for overnight oats. They also have the advantage of being heatproof, in case you like them hot. I like these American made jars (view here).
- If you plan to heat your oats in the jar, it can bubble up rapidly. Watch carefully! You could also serve your oats in a roomy bowl, or get the wide-mouth jars instead.
- Flax seeds can substitute for chia.
- Add a dollop if Greek yogurt for added nutrition.
- For Chocloate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats, stir a Tablespoon of chocolate chips in with the oatmeal and/or drizzle over the top with chocolate syrup.
- For PB&J oats, simply replace the bananas with a layer of grape jelly. You can also make a Fluffernutter version, using a layer of Marshmallow Fluff.
