Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Recipe: Ingredients
- 1 1/2c. flour
- 1t. baking soda
- 1/2t. salt
- 1t. cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2c. sugar
- 3/4c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2t. vanilla
- 3c. oats
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1c. walnuts
How to Make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift dry ingredients (first four), and set aside.
- Beat butter until fluffy.
- Add both sugars, and cream 2-3 minutes on medium speed.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in oats, chips, and nuts.
- Spread dough evenly in pan.
- Bake 25 minutes, until cookies are starting to pull away from edges, and center springs back when lightly pressed with finger.
- Cool pan on rack. Bar cookies cut best while still warm.
