Melting Moments Tips for Success
- Top quality cookie pans will bake these Melting Moments with even results. I like these American made, heirloom quality pans (view here).
- Butter can be substituted for margarine.
- Need a fast way to soften butter? View helpful article here.
- Do not grease cookie sheets.
- Arrange cookie dough either 3 by 6 on two cookie pans, or 3 by 4 on three smaller pans. Sometimes, I like to make them a bit bigger, and will arrange them 3 by 5 on two pans (30 cookies).
- Baking time will vary, depending on your oven, the thickness of your pans, and how brown you like them. I like a browned butter taste, and I have insulated pans, so I bake them 15 minutes. Careful though – Browned can go right to burned in just seconds!
